Demineralized bone matrix (DBM) consists mainly of almost pure collagen (95%) and contains 5% BMP. The demineralization makes it radiopaque. The product is approved as a medicinal product under the German Medicinal Products Act (AMG). It consists of corticospongious bone, has been freeze-dried and is available in two different grain sizes. DBM is easy to process.
